=DFA=(Death from Above) is a team of individuals who play the flight simulations DCS:A-10C Warthog and DCS:Black Shark and previously Lock-On Flaming Cliff's. We also play combined arms simulators ArmA 2/ArmA 2 - Operation Arrowhead when were not flying.
=DFA= specialise in Close Air Support(CAS) aircraft specifically the A-10C Thunderbolt II and the KA-50 Black Shark attack helicopter.
The Squadron was formed by Myself (Washout) and our Executive officer (Graywo1f) back in November 2006 when the Squadron we were with disbanded. We decided to go it on our own and start a dedicated air to ground squadron. We've been going ever since, into year 4 now!
Our members are experienced virtual pilots/real world pilots and military veteran's from the United States,Canada and Europe and we thrive on a laid back and friendly yet professional atmosphere.
We use some brevity codes when flying to enhance the experience but this isnt considered essential for new recruits as they will pick it up as they fly with us. What is essential for joining DFA is that you are over 18, have a headset/mic and ventrilo for comms.
